Students experimented with various aging techniques and concepts while creating cartoons. Students not only manipulated the paper to make the cartoon appear aged, but they also changed the context in which the character and cartoon existed. Some students found specific clothing to be vintage.

Students experimented with printmaking using linoleum. This project centered around the different values that can be created in various carving strokes. Students were instructed to created a sense of drama from a favorite piece of literature through contrasting values.

Student worked together in pairs to redesign the look of the classroom chairs. Students first planned their ideas, taking the design of every inch of the chair into account. Students mainly worked with patterns that would enhance the chair's overall appearance.
